How do I message a shef?

Each shef builds their own menu and prepares the orders they receive, so if you have a question about a dish or want to request an accommodation, you'll want to ask the shef directly.

Messaging a shef before placing an order:

  1. Head to the shef’s menu.

  2. Scroll down to where it says “Questions?

  3. Click on “Message this shef”.

  4. A window will pop-up where you can start typing and sending messages directly to the shef.

  5. Conversations can be continued from the "Messages" page found in the main menu of shef.com.

Messaging a shef you have already ordered from:

  1. Head to your orders page.

  2. Select "Upcoming", or "Previous".

  3. Click on “Message” next to the respective order that the shef has prepared.

Please keep in mind: Not all shefs have the bandwidth to accept customizations, so order customizations and personal requests cannot always be guaranteed. It is up to the shefs to decide if they can accept any special requests.
