Having a great profile picture for your customers to see is an excellent way to create a connection and trust with your customers. It shows them that you are a real person who will be carefully preparing any food they order from you.

Submit up to 3 options of your profile photo on the My Profile page of your Shef Dashboard. Our photo editors will choose one of those photos to edit and upload for you within 5 days!

If you have already uploaded a picture and would like to change it, just email us your new picture to shefsupport@shef.com and we'll get it updated within 5 business days.

Your profile picture needs to be a picture of you, it cannot be something like a business logo or a picture of food. Having a picture of yourself builds trust with your customers and we have found it increase the likelihood of getting orders by 5 times more than shefs that don't have a photo.

Have someone take your photo from more than 10 feet away, including a good amount of your surroundings. This helps our photo editors to make sure they can edit your photo without cutting out any important parts of the photo. We recommend holding a plate or bowl of your food on display for the camera and smiling for all the customers that will be deciding if they want to buy food from your menu.

Any photo of yourself will do; just no selfies, please!
