On the morning of each delivery day, you will bring all of your orders together to drop off at the location you have selected on the 'My Profile' page of your Shef Dashboard. Drop off times are listed next to each location on your 'My Profile' page. The time window listed is when your orders must be dropped off each delivery day. After you drop off your orders, we will deliver them to each of your customers. Your customers will receive their food by the afternoon/evening of the same day.
There may be multiple drop-off locations in your area. Please select the drop-off location that is the most convenient location for you and you know you can reliably show up to each day that you have orders. No matter which option you select, your menu will be available to all customers in your city.
Once you have selected your drop-off location, please be sure to make a note of the address and drop-off times listed on your Profile page so that you don't forget. It is very important to drop off your orders during the designated time window so that we have enough time to complete the deliveries to your customers.
If you don't see the 'Your delivery hub' option on your Profile page, you are most likely in a city that offers door-to-door delivery. For this option, you will provide an address where we will send delivery drivers to pick up your orders directly from you.
In some areas, we offer hub drop-off and door-to-door delivery. You can choose both options and most orders will still need to be dropped at your hub, but on days when the hub is closed, we will send delivery drivers to the pickup address you provide. When both options are available to you, the door-to-door option has a substantially smaller delivery zone, which means far less customers are able to order from you on those days. Because of this, we recommend using the hub drop-off option so a much larger amount of customers are able to order from you.
