Stainless Steel Container Program

How our Reusable Stainless Steel Program Works

Reusable Containers are only an option for our Weekly Service Subscribers.

How to identify and pack your steel orders.

  1. Go to My Orders and select your delivery date.

  2. Check the "Steel Qty" column: this shows total servings of each dish to pack in steel containers.

  3. When packing, make sure your labels with "STEEL" printed on them are attached to steel container orders.

Always pack steel orders in steel containers, and standard orders in standard plastic containers. Please use plastic for sauces and condiments to go with the steel. We will check for this during order processing.

Your Order Dashboard: Column 2(steel qty) indicates the # of steel orders for each dish. Column 3 (standard qty) indicates the # of plastic orders for each dish.

How to order (restock) your steel containers

Containers are provided to you free of charge, you just need to order them through the Supplies Ordering Form. Watch this tutorial for more details.

  1. Every Tuesday you will receive the same ordering form you use for bags, ice packs, and labels, updated to include steel containers.

  2. The form will be pre-filled with suggested quantities based on your order data. Review and adjust as needed.

  3. Submit the form by Tuesday at 11:59 PM for the next week’s supplies pickup.

  4. You will be assigned a supplies pickup day. Once you place your order on Tuesday, you will be able to pick it up on your assigned pickup day starting on Sunday. (If your pickup day is on Sunday, you will pickup the first Sunday after you order, but if it's Wednesday, it will be the 2nd Wednesday after you order.)

  5. On your assigned supplies day, collect your pre-packed, labeled containers from the driver at your drop-off location.
